These are also used for invitations, along with\n     various types of personal announcements, such as wedding and baby\n     announcements.<\/li><li>Booklet envelopes are a good\n     alternative for mailing catalogs, folders and booklets. These are also\n     known as open-side envelopes because the flap is on the long side of the\n     envelopes. These are also called open-end envelopes because the flap\n     is on the short side of the envelope. These are the most durable envelopes\n     without using a heavier cardstock or box.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Once\nyou decide on the type of envelope you need to use, the next step is to pick a\nsize. You will need one that is about 1\/4 &#8211; 1\/2 an inch bigger on each side. So\n\u2026 if your document measures 3&#8243; by 6&#8243;, the best envelope would be one\nthat measures 3.5&#8243; by 6.5&#8243;.
