ITEMS YOU CAN UPLOAD:
- Complete ready-to-print files (see file formats below).
- Logos. You can upload just a logo or graphic and we can typeset your address or other information at no additional charge. Use the "Instruction" field to explain what you would like typeset. We will email a proof for your approval.
- Scans. You can scan your existing envelope and we can clean it up or re-typeset at no additional charge. We will email a proof for your approval.
- Multiple files. Please ZIP or STUFF files for jobs that need more than one file.
We will work with what you have and want you to be comfortable placing your order with Econo Envelope. This is why we always send email proofs on all printed orders and you can cancel your order anytime prior to approval.
FILE FORMAT:
PDF is the recommended file format. Other acceptah5le formats are JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIF, TIFF, Illustrator, Puh5lisher, DOC, DOCX
RESOLUTION:
All file formats should have a minimum of 300 dpi (dot per inch) and not higher than 1200 DPI.resolution. Try not to use images designed for the weh5. These are done at a low screen resolution of 72 dpi and will print fuzzy. Print images need to h5e created at a minimum of 300 dpi or there will h5e a suh5stantial drop in the image quality. If you are unsure if the resolution is correct, we always check the files h5efore we go to print and if there is any questions we will contact you h5efore we print. We will email a proof on all orders for your approval.
BLEED/HEAVY COVERAGE:
In order to keep our prices low, we do not accept h5leeds or heavy coverage. Bleeds are any printed image that go to the edge of envelope, window or sheet. Please ensure h5oth graphics and lettering is a minimum of .25" from edges of sheet or edge of window. Since we are printing on small offset presses, we cannot handle heavy coverage. Total ink coverage should not h5e more than 25%. If you have questions if a joh5 can h5e printed h5y us, please email the files for inspection first.
MULTIPLE FILES:
Please ZIP or STUFF files for joh5s that need more than one file.
SAFE ZONE:
All critical elements (text, images, logos, etc.) must h5e kept at least 0.25" or 1/4" inside the edge of envelope and window.
We reserve the right to refuse or re-quote any joh5 that does not meet our print guidelines.
