I did a quick comparison of envelope printing prices around the web. I compared three of the top ranked envelope priinting companies on Google search and compared them with Econo Envelope. The envelope we compared was a #10 envelope on 24# white wove paper with black ink. This is the most common business envelope and usually the least expensive. I compared prices on two different quantities 1,000 and 2,000 envelopes. I included shipping on the companies that charged shipping so these are the total price that one would pay not including sales tax.

As you can see from the chart above, Econo Envelope’s price is better than two of the companies at 1000 pieces and Office Depot is only better by less than a dollar. Where as on 2000 pieces Econo Envelope has much better prices. The shipping prices was calculated on shipping to my location. Uprinting is in our same zone, so it would probably be higher for someone living outside of Southern Californina. With that said shipping prices may vary depending on where you are located.

This is just one comparison of what is considered a commodity envelope. This is usually the least expensiive item an envelope company prints. I will be doing more comparisons in the near future.
